THIS review is to thank William and all the team at Speedwell Kia Exeter branch. This I should point out also includes the lady on reception Karen who welcomed with a big smile sat us down introduced us to William and then made us a lovely coffee. Very impressive. I have dealt with many sales people in my 50 odd years of buying cars and have felt at times pressured into buying something I was unsure of. None of that with William he took his time gave us plenty of information on the cars available that may suit out needs. He was at all times very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. He want through the advantages of the car we was interested in and gave us time to consider if this would be the car for us. I was introduced to the manager Roul who we could tell was also very professional and runs a very well oiled team catering for all types and age rangers of customers in the showroom. He let us know if we needed anything further he would make himself available to us at any time. He then left us in the very capable hands of William who took his time with us and went through the car details and the process if we bought in a very informed and professional way. I think William would be an ideal trainer for new members of staff showing the benefits he possesses when dealing with older members of the buying public. It would be wise to remember they have the money to buy the newer upmarket cars and with someone like William who takes the time to explain to them the vast advantages the Kia cars have I think you're on a winner with this member of staff on your team. This may be the last car I buy but I would certainly recommend the great team at Speedwell Kia to pay these informed executives a visit.

From my very first visit to the last, Tom was helpful, courteous, knowledgeable and made my car buying journey a very simple one. He went out of his way to keep me informed of progress and, even after I had driven off in my purchase, he followed up with a courtesy call to answer any questions and ensure that I was happy. Very pleased with the helpful and friendly advice from Dan at Speedwell Exeter. Changing cars can be a stressful process and Dan helped ease negotiations with the financial issues and the technical know how, like how to turn off the lane assist! It also gives me peace of mind to know that I can call on him in the future if problems arise.

Well. What can I say? From the moment that I contacted Sam, to - well, now - everything has been exemplary. First of all, there is absolutely no pressure put on the customer, merely useful help and information. I called Sam, in need of a new car immediately, my old one having, sadly become unroadworthy. We made an appointment for the following day and I went to see him and he went over all the pros and cons of the various electric vehicles, over a very good cup of coffee. He was very patient with an obvious 'electric vehicle newbie' and didn't judge this particular book by her cover, arriving, as she did, on a very old bicycle. He didn't try to sell us finance, or any other 'extras' and found us a car that was pretty well perfect (I'd have liked a different colour, but hey, I'm a girl!) Despite being very busy and giving us a pretty short time scale to have the car ready (we saw it when it had just come in and was not sales-ready), he pushed it forward, knowing that I needed it for work. It became available as I was travelling back from work on the bus and we sorted out tax and the extras that we had decided that we wanted from the top deck! The marvels of modern technology! The car was in the drive when I arrived home, and I had to wait until the following morning to take her for a spin, as that's when the insurance began. After-sales service has been superb (so far) with a couple of phone calls and emails - responded to promptly - and a visit to go over a few things that I couldn't work out. I have to say that one of the things that swayed us to buy from Speedwell was the fact that it is a family run business and is on our doorstep. We have been impressed by the friendly, courteous, efficient customer service from Sam, and any other members of staff with who we have dealt. The car itself is fabulous to drive and, despite only having had it for five days, I have already managed to get 76.5mpg on one drive. Overall, 64mpg - and am loving the smart cruise control, lane assist and Android Auto, which is linked to my phone, not only for calls (hands free, of course!) but my tunes! It is very comfortable on an hour long drive - and I feel confident that longer journeys will be too. Ergonomics, economics, and I can polish my environmental halo! Go on - get yourself down to Speedwell and try out a Kia Niro Hybrid!
